The South Fork Powder Busters Snowmobile Club is based in South Fork (Rio Grande County) at the foot of Wolf Creek Pass on U.S. Hwy 160 at 8250 Feet in elevation.

South Fork is located on Colorado Highway 160, 50 miles west of Alamosa in the San Luis Valley, in the southern San Juan Mountains. The riding area takes in the Continental Divide. The South Fork Powder Busters Club grooms 150 miles of trails in the Divide District of the Rio Grande National Forest. We have five major trailheads, three trail heads on Wolf Creek pass and two trailed heads within miles of South Fork, our trails provide access to riding areas for all experience levels.

The elevations of the trails range from 8,300 to 12,708 feet. Many of the trails give riders a chance to feel like they are on “top of the world”. The trails offer groomed riding, plenty of meadows for playing and steep mountain areas for climbing with lots of deep powder.  The area has a yearly snowfall of 300-450 inches so there is always snow to ride somewhere on the system. Be sure to carry extra fuel.
